* Strong safety focus and meticulous attention to detail are essential to ensure maintenance activities comply with site safety protocols.
* Collaborate and mentor crew members to execute maintenance tasks efficiently and safely.
* Retrieve technical information from relevant reference manuals, technical bulletins, and computer-based systems.
* Demonstrate exceptional initiative, working effectively under pressure.
* Ensure mobile plant equipment defects are addressed promptly.
* Provide expert technical guidance to staff and operations personnel.
* Procure parts and equipment requirements through accurate ordering procedures.
* Verify implementation of solutions and control further non-conforming machinery until the deficiency is corrected.
About you:
A trade-qualified Plant Mechanic with proven post-trade experience in a Leading Hand or Senior maintenance role on an operational mine is required.
Key qualifications include:
* G1,G8,G9 certificate (highly valued)
* Strong knowledge of large-scale mining equipment and maintenance practices
* Excellent communication and leadership skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams
* High commitment to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement
