The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a skilled Mechanic (Cars/Trucks) to maintain and repair our fleet of vehicles based at our Swan Hill facility.
This role is vital in supporting the logistics and transport operations that ensure our premium meat products are delivered safely and efficiently.
Key Duties Include:
1. Performing routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on light vehicles, trucks, and refrigerated transport units
2. Diagnosing mechanical faults and conducting timely repairs
3. Carrying out inspections, roadworthy checks, and preventative maintenance schedules
4. Keeping accurate service records and completing necessary paperwork
5. Assisting in maintaining fleet readiness for daily operations
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. Relevant trade qualification as an Automotive Mechanic (Light/Heavy Vehicle)
2. Experience in maintaining a mixed fleet of light commercial vehicles and trucks
3. Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
4. HR licence (preferred but not essential)
5. Ability to work independently and within a team environment
6. Commitment to safety, reliability, and industry standards
