Position Overview
The Advertising and Social Media Specialist is responsible for developing, executing, and optimising advertising campaigns and social media strategies to drive brand visibility, engagement, and lead generation. This role blends performance marketing with creative content management, ensuring consistent, compelling, and data-driven brand presence across all digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Advertising Management
* Plan, execute, and optimise campaigns across Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and other digital platforms.
* Perform keyword research, audience targeting, and ad testing for improved ROI.
* Manage budgets and ensure efficient cost per click (CPC), cost per lead (CPL), and return on ad spend (ROAS).
* Develop landing pages in collaboration with designers and web teams.
Social Media Strategy & Content Management
* Develop and implement social media content calendars for platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
* Create engaging posts, reels, stories, and campaigns aligned with brand tone and messaging.
* Create scripts and structured storyboards for video productions support marketing and promotional initiatives.
* Execute onsite recording of video content, ensuring alignment with creative direction and brand messaging.
* Capture and edit high-quality photographs and videos using professional tools.
* Monitor daily activity on social media channels, respond to comments/inquiries, and maintain community engagement.
* Collaborate with creative teams to produce videos, graphics, and promotional assets.
Analytics, Reporting & Optimisation
* Track campaign performance using Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, and platform insights.
* Prepare weekly/monthly reporting on advertising performance, engagement metrics, and improvement opportunities.
* Use insights to refine targeting, content strategy, and campaign efficiency.
Brand Growth & Audience Engagement
* Support brand-building initiatives across digital spaces.
* Identify opportunities for influencer partnerships, collaborations, and content amplification.
* Maintain brand consistency across all ad creatives, posts, and digital communications.
* Research trends and apply platform best practices to keep content fresh and competitive.
Market Research & Competitor Monitoring
* Analyse market trends and competitor campaigns to identify opportunities and threats.
* Recommend new platforms, formats, and advertising strategies.
* Provide insights into audience behaviour and campaign performance.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
* Work with Sales, Product, and Creative teams to align advertising and social media efforts with broader business objectives.
* Coordinate with external agencies, freelancers, or media partners
* Support corporate events, promotions, and special marketing initiatives.
Skills & Qualifications
* Degree in Advertising, Communications, Digital Media, or related field.
* Proven experience in advertising, social media management, or digital marketing roles in the Vehicle manufacturing and sales industry.
Technical Skills
● Working knowledge of Meta Suite
● Working knowledge of Adobe suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom, Premiere)
● Understanding of marketing/social media practices
● Data and file management
● Basic graphic design/photography/video editing
● High written and verbal communication skills
