About Our Client
Our client is a leading Australian Mining and Resource client with operations and exploration projects across the Bowen and Surat basins, with four major coal-producing assets supplying metallurgical coal to a global market. They hold a strong track record of performance in developing, operating and rehabilitating coal resources to produce export metallurgical coal for steel making.
What you will be Doing
You will be working as a Haul Truck Operator within the Production Department on a coal mine near Coppabella. This role is a 3-month contract, with possible extension. You will be required to safety operate CAT 793 Haul trucks. You will be working a Thursday to Wednesday 7/7 rotating day and night shift roster. These roles are open to Local, DIDO and BIBO from Mackay candidates.
What you will need
* Previous coal mining experience operating Haul Trucks in a production environment
* You will need to have obtained a Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical within last 2 years or be willing to attain this.
* SSE signed skills list, Current Drivers Licence & right to work in Australia
* Current Drivers License
