Reason for Hire
Reason for Hire: Full-time GP is relocating to Melbourne in three weeks, and we are urgently seeking a replacement to ensure continuity of care for her patients. Any new doctor joining us will have a fully booked schedule from day one.
Position Details
* Billing Type: Mixed billing practice, bulk billing for aged pensioners, DVA, and children under 16.
* Practice Software: Best Practice, along with Primary Sense, Cubiko, and BetterConsult.
* Current Team: 3 female GPs (1 full-time and 2 part-time). The full-time doctor is the one leaving.
* Patient Base: Approximately 5,000 active patients.
* Weekend Sessions: 1 Saturday morning per month (8 am-12 pm) preferred.
* Patients Per Day: Flexible appointment scheduling. Standard hours are 8 am-4 pm with 15-minute slots and a 30-minute lunch break. We encourage a work/home life balance and can adjust hours to suit your needs.
* Billing Capacity: Full-time gross billing capacity is $8,000-$10,000 per week.
* Role Type: Full-time or part-time (preferably more than 2 days a week).
* Allied Health On-Site: Physio, Podiatrist, and Mater Pathology. Also available in the center are a chemist, chiropractor, dentist, and audiologist.
* Nurse Support: 1 RN and 1 EEN, always at least one rostered daily, experienced in procedures such as cannulation.
Compensation
* Billing Share: 70% of gross billings.
* Initial Retainer: $150-$180 per hour for the first 3 months (though this will likely be unnecessary due to full bookings).

Special Note
Special Note: We would consider a 6-month locum position for doctors at the end of their moratorium, provided they are willing to transition to a permanent role.
