We have a great new opportunity for a Watercart Operator / Spotter to join our team located in Wingfield, SA.
This is an exciting opportunity to build a career within Waste Management and mobile plant operations, with potential growth opportunities including obtaining various tickets such as Loader, Excavator and Dozer.
Your new position will see you:
* Spotting trucks when tipping on site
* Confirming trucks have the correct materials and that this matches documentation prior to disposal/entry
* Using UHF radio to communicate effectively with the Site Supervisor and team to ensure safe and efficient operations
* Operating the Watercart as required for dust suppression and site safety
* Assisting with traffic management on site
* Entering site data (e.g. recording truck loads) into an iPad as required
* Undertaking small general hand duties as needed
About You:
* Experience operating a Watercart (desirable)
* Experience as a Spotter, General Hand or in a similar site-based role (preferred)
* Very reliable and comfortable working in a team environment
* Labouring or site-based experience
* Self-motivated with the ability to work without supervision
* Ability to proactively solve problems and present practical workplace solutions
* Keen to learn and develop new skills and tickets
