The Prospect
Our client is a prominent organisation in the energy sector in Australia.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure to working across network planning, network operations, delivery, major projects and renewable energy zones.
Key Responsibilities Drafting and advising on various network related contracts and negotiating on property rights, loan agreements and securities.
Review and negotiate contracts for major infrastructure projects and provide the business with front end advice.
Assist with network and regulated matters as well as reviewing and negotiating conditions of contracts for transmission infrastructure projects.
Prepare and effectively communicate advice to the Board, executives and senior managers on The National Electricity Laws and Rules.
Advising on the impact of regulatory regime on the major projects, and providing advice on the administration of contracts before and during the project delivery phase.
Ideal Candidate Admitted as a Solicitor in Australia or New Zealand.
4 years+ PAE projects lawyer with experience gained from private practice or inhouse.
Experience in drafting, negotiating and advising on various network infrastructure contracts in the energy industry.
Ideally you will have experience in the National Electricity Rules, although this is not essential.
Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
