About the Opportunity
The Parks Attendant is responsible for Murray River Council parks and open space service delivery to provide inclusive, safe and maintained parks, gardens, recreational reserves, sporting fields, facilities, cemeteries and roadsides in accordance with the Local Government Act 1993, and Murray River Council's policies and procedures.
What you need to be successful:
* Minimum one-year previous experience in similar or related field.
* Irrigation installation and maintenance experience.
* Knowledge of workplace health and safety (WHS) responsibilities and a commitment to attending relevant WHS training.
* RMS Traffic control accreditation.
* Operation of horticultural plant and equipment.
* Chemical Application Certificate.
