Role: Business Development OEM – FMB and Packaging
We are seeking an experienced and driven Business Development OEM in the FMB and packaging sector to join our team. This role focuses on uncovering, developing, and converting sales opportunities into sustainable growth within the Manufacturing market sector across Australia, New Zealand, and the South East Asian region.
The successful candidate will expand Eriez’ market presence by engaging with end-users, OEMs, and EPC firms, while also managing and strengthening relationships with existing clients. The role includes building sales channels by identifying, appointing, and managing representative agents, resellers, and distributors to maximise coverage across Light Industry segments, aligning with Eriez’ global strategies.
Accountability
- Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to achieve growth targets and expand market presence across Australia, Recent Zealand, and South East Asia
- Build, manage, and convert a strong sales pipeline through proactive prospecting, lead generation, and solution-based selling
- Manage and grow relationships with end-users, OEMs, EPC firms, and distributors, ensuring long-term partnerships and repeat business
- Identify, appoint, and oversee representative agents, resellers, and distributors to strengthen Eriez’ presence across Light Industry segments
- Deliver tailored technical and commercial proposals, negotiate contracts, and ensure opportunities are converted into profitable sales
- Provide market insights and competitor analysis to guide business strategy, product development, and regional growth initiatives
Qualifications
- Proven experience in business development and sales within industrial equipment, machinery, or related sectors
- Strong knowledge of the relevant market sectors (experience with sanitary/non-sanitary processes)
- Proven track record of sales growth and market expansion
- Demonstrated ability to manage distributors, agents, and reseller networks
- Technical aptitude with the ability to communicate complex solutions to diverse stakeholders
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills
- High level of initiative, self-motivation, and results-driven mindset
- Willingness to travel extensively across Australia and South East Asia
