Reliability Specialist

We collaborate to develop efficient processes that drive business growth and improve overall performance.

* Identify opportunities for process improvements, downtime reduction, and data management through manufacturing processes, robotics, and digital scheduling systems.


Key Responsibilities:

* Support regular meetings to review downtime and collaborate with supervisors on improvement activities
* Update area TPM boards & conduct audits
* Analyze daily downtime events and update the daily lost unit log with countermeasures
* Weekly / Monthly analysis and reporting of downtime events (no of events, total time, lost units)
* Develop continuous improvement programs for significant downtime events
* Coordinate and analyze preventative and predictive maintenance activities including vibration analysis program, oil analysis program, thermography program
* Review / modify maintenance PM's for effectiveness
* Organize weekly breakdown improvement meetings
* Plan and schedule equipment improvement activities.
* Ensure all follow-up improvement activities are entered into the system and tracked to completion
* Train/coach maintenance personnel in reliability practices


Requirements:

* Master/bachelor's degree in engineering or mechanical/mechatronic discipline or formal qualifications in reliability maintenance
* Minimum 5 years working within Manufacturing or sector with robotics
* Ability to handle complex processes
* Understanding and compliance of health and safety regulations
* Proactive approach with flexibility and efficiency
* Adaptability to different situations
* Strong technical and analytical skills
* Advanced fault-finding and diagnostic skills
* Able to manage changes and multiple challenges simultaneously
* Can-do attitude and contribute to a positive team environment
* Effective communication with others
* Open-minded about ideas and their application in the workplace
* Flexible and open-minded, working efficiently and proactively to deliver results
* Ask and listen, take ideas on board, and work with the team to move forward
* Understand process and project goals and work hard to achieve them
* Recognize the impact of equipment issues on production and respond promptly to resolve them
