The Group Category Manager is responsible for shaping and executing category strategies that deliver commercial value, manage risk, and support operational needs. This includes supply market analysis, strategic sourcing, contract management, and supplier performance, while partnering closely with internal stakeholders to ensure procurement outcomes align with business priorities.You will be responsible for:* Leading category strategy and strategic sourcing activities, including market analysis, long‐term planning, commercial negotiations, and contract and risk management across the assigned category.* Managing supplier performance and relationships, driving KPI reviews, addressing underperformance, and fostering partnerships that support innovation, value creation and continuous improvement.* Partnering with internal stakeholders, building strong relationships across business units, providing market insights, and ensuring procurement approaches align with policy, demand and operational needs.* Supporting governance and procurement processes, maintaining accurate contract and supplier documentation, managing records within systems, and ensuring consistent application of procurement standards.* Driving cost saving initiatives aligned with Crown's overarching growth strategy.**About You**You are a commercially astute procurement professional with strong experience in category management, sourcing and supplier engagement. You bring a strategic mindset, sound judgement, and the ability to influence outcomes across a diverse stakeholder group. You are naturally inquisitive and have the ability to ask the right questions of our business units to be able to deliver the key commerical impacts we need for Crown to thrive.You will also bring:* Strong experience in contract management and strategic sourcing within FMCG, hospitality, or structured procurement environments.* A proven track record of identifying and delivering sustained cost efficiencies and commercial value.* Highly developed negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to engage internal and external stakeholders effectively.* Excellent communication and presentation capability.* Strong supplier relationship management experience, with a focus on performance, governance and continuous improvement.* Qualifications in business, commerce, economics or finance (or equivalent experience).On top of exciting career possibilities, we offer better exposure to experiences and learning.
