We are seeking a skilled Lead Business Analyst to join our team and drive business growth. As the Lead Business Analyst, you will be responsible for building and shaping our Business Analysis capability.

The ideal candidate will have solid experience as a Senior or Lead Business Analyst in Financial Services, ideally in non-bank lending or fintech. They will be hands-on leaders who are equally comfortable doing the work and building the function.

Key Responsibilities:

* Build the Business Analysis function from the ground up, including frameworks, templates, and delivery practices.
">
* Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Business Analysts across multiple workstreams and projects.
">
* Work hands-on across strategic programs, such as system migrations, lending and servicing platforms, data migration.
">
* Define and manage business requirements, process mapping, gap analysis, and stakeholder alignment.
">
* Partner closely with Program Managers, Product, Tech, and third-party vendors to ensure clarity, quality, and delivery.
">
* Drive consistency in analysis and documentation across the organization.

About You:

* Solid experience as a Senior or Lead Business Analyst in Financial Services, ideally in non-bank lending or fintech.

* A hands-on leader who is equally comfortable doing the work and building the function.

* Proven ability to set up BA frameworks, methodologies, and best practices in fast-paced environments.
">
* Strong experience across implementation, data migration, and operational change projects.
">
* Confident working with complex systems, integrations, and third-party vendors.
">
* Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and leadership skills.

Nice to Have:

* Experience in loan servicing, payments, or financial product lifecycles.

* Exposure to core system rollouts, regulatory change, or large-scale transformation.

* Experience scaling BA teams in growth-phase businesses.

This role is based in Sydney and requires a minimum of 4 days a week in the office. We only consider permanent residents and Australian citizens.
