Love outdoor adventure, cutting-edge tech, and building long-term relationships? We're looking for a motivated Account Manager to nurture and grow our dealer network, ensuring our retail partners succeed with products we distribute.

· Location: St Leonards, Sydney, NSW

· Industry: Distributor for Outdoor & Portable Tech, Action Cameras, & Portable Energy

· $70,000 – up to $90,000 Base PA

· Role Type: Full-time (Office and field-based)

This role is perfect for a people-focused sales professional who enjoys relationship-building, account growth, and being the go-to contact for key retail partners.

What You'll Be Doing

As our new Account Manager, you'll:

Client Relationship Management

* Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key accounts, developing a deep understanding of client needs and business drivers.
* Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, managing communications, handling escalations, and resolving issues effectively.

Sales & Business Development

* Achieve sales targets and revenue objectives through proactive account planning and business development.
* Identify new opportunities within existing accounts while also supporting new client acquisition.
* Develop proposals, prepare quotations, and negotiate contracts in line with company policies.

Account Strategy & Planning

* Create and implement strategic account plans aligned with both client business goals and Techlyte's growth strategy.
* Collaborate with product, technical, and project teams to deliver tailored solutions.
* Monitor competitor activities and market trends, providing actionable insights to management.

Project Delivery & Support

* Oversee project execution and solution implementation across key accounts.
* Ensure smooth delivery, service quality, and after-sales support in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
* Support product launches, merchandising, and promotional initiatives in-store.

Reporting & Compliance

* Provide regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and account performance reports to management.
* Ensure all sales activities comply with company standards, ethical guidelines, and legal requirements.

Market Experience

* Work with buyers from chain-store brands in consumer electronics, outdoor, camping, tools, and related industries.
* Represent the company at trade shows, dealer events, and roadshows, strengthening Techlyte's product presence in the market.

We're Looking For Someone Who:

* Has 1+ years of account management or sales experience (consumer products, retail store staff, or B2B).
* Brings proven experience working with buyers from chain-store brands in consumer electronics, outdoor, camping, tools, or similar industries.
* Is customer-focused with strong relationship-building and problem-solving skills.
* Thrives on helping partners succeed and grow their business.
* Is comfortable working independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
* Is passionate about tech, gadgets, and outdoor adventure.
* Experience in the outdoor/recreational, camera, or tech retail space.
* Familiarity with stores like Camera House, Digi Direct, or similar channels.
* Exposure to dealer networks or retail account management.

Other Requirements:

* Must have Permanent work rights in Australia.
* Valid driver's license and car (NSW-based).
* Your own car to meet potential clients within NSW.
* Fluent English with strong written and verbal skills.
* Some exposure to CRM systems (or willingness to learn).
* Willingness to travel interstate occasionally (expenses covered).
