Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experiencedRisk and Compliance Officerto join their dedicated Risk and Compliance team.

Experience:Must have experience in the education sector (essential).
School experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
Developing, implementing, and maintaining risk management and compliance frameworks tailored to the education sector
Ensuring compliance with child protection laws, Working With Children Checks, duty of care obligations, and student welfare standards
Supporting WHS initiatives specific to school settings, including playground and excursion safety, emergency preparedness, and incident management
Monitoring compliance with curriculum and educational standards, privacy obligations, and records management requirements
Assisting with regulatory reporting to education authorities, accreditation bodies, and school boards
Providing training and guidance to staff on policies, procedures, and legislative requirements
Supporting regular compliance audits and risk assessments across school operations, including co-curricular and off-site activities
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in a similar risk and compliance role within a school or educational environment (essential)
Strong knowledge of education-specific regulatory and WHS requirements
Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
A proactive, collaborative approach with the ability to work across all levels of the organisation
