The Opportunity
Our Women Up Front Trainee Bus Driver program offers you the support and training you need to become a licensed and confident bus driver. This includes:
* A friendly and supportive environment
* An extensive induction training program with a mix of classroom and on-road training
* Training to obtain a Heavy Rigid (HR) licence
* A 12-month training program (Mix of classroom and on the job training) to gain a nationally recognised qualification (Certificate III in Driving Operations - Bus)
* Industry leading pay throughout your training
* You will be assigned a Buddy throughout the training process to support your development
* Depot Locations - North Fitzroy, Thomastown, Doncaster, Keysborough, Heatherton, and Preston
* Excellent customer service skills and who enjoy working with people
* A current Australian Car driver's licence (full licence held for at least 2 years)
* Willingness to have a pre-employment functional, drug and alcohol assessment
* Ability to obtain a Driver Accreditation and Working with Children Check
* Hold Australian work rights (Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen)
Please note you must be available to attend an assessment centre from our North Fitzroy depot.
We're After People With
