Role Responsibilities:
Customer Service
* Meet client and introduce yourself and explain your role
* Undertake protective works to house before demolition
* Safely move client pictures and furniture as required
* Set up building work cutting area and put up appropriate OHS signs
* Set up material storage area and load in products and building materials
* Check with client to ensure they are happy with protective works set up before starting on approval
* Remove protection and any other material and clean site at end of works
* Load left over building materials into company trucks
Demolition
* Wear all required PPE to allow for safe work
* Remove all fixtured and fitting from Bathrooms
* Disconnect and cap off plumbing supplies
* Remove wall and floor tiling
* Remove plaster as directed
* Remove flooring as required
* Remove kitchen cabinetry
* Load all materials neatly into skip or trailer
* Tidy as you go and at the end of each day
Attributes you will bring to the role is proven experience as a Demolition Labourer, an excellent work ethic, a willingness to learn and to take direction from the Leading Hand/ Project Manager, a good team player and a strong customer service focus. You are organised and understand the need to achieve strict timelines and have the ability to multi-task and prioritise work to achieve key directives. You have a neat and well groomed appearance.
