We are seeking experienced Defence professionals to fill multiple positions supporting upcoming Maritime sustainment activity in Henderson.These roles will require excellent collaboration, administrative, and procurement skills to ensure successful delivery within a tight timeframe.Highlights:6-month contract positionsEnd April - SeptemberOn-site in Henderson, WABaseline clearance required (essential)Role 1: Purchasing Officer (5 positions)Support procurement activities related to upcoming ship maintenanceConduct market research, issue quotes, and raise purchase orders.Engage with Engineering and Maintenance teams to understand material requirements for ship availability.Ensure procurement information systems are accurately maintained to support decision-making.Role 2: Purchasing Planners (5 positions)Provide support to RFQ and tendering processesSupport wider procurement team during planning phase of availabilitiesEnsure adherence to procurement processes and drive consistency.Role 3: Technical Author (2 positions)Develop technical documents to support maritime sustainment activitiesAssist with development of manuals, procedures, specs, reports and plansManage update and amendment to existing technical artefactsRequired Skills & Experience:Purchasing Officers: Previous experience in a similar role, strong excel skills, experience with supply chain relationship management.Purchasing Planners: Previous experience in purchasing, planning, admin within a Defence environment, strong administrative and communication skills.Technical Author: Prior experience in a similar role within Defence, preferable related to maintenance project, knowledge of ILS, strong written communication skills.Security Clearance: Baseline minimum required for all roles.All applications should include your resume as a word document.
