Job Opportunity: Roofer for Inspections and Assessments
A skilled roofer is required to conduct thorough inspections, generate reports compliant with insurer standards and scopes of work. This position involves variety, encompassing site assessments, mid-repair audits, and communication with clients and contractors.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive site inspections and provide detailed reports accompanied by photographic evidence.
* Prepare scopes of work aligned with building codes, regulations, and insurer requirements.
* Distinguish between new and pre-existing damage in reports.
* Carry out mid-repair quality audits to ensure compliance and workmanship standards.
* Maintain regular updates with clients and stakeholders.
* Ensure projects adhere to WHS standards, industry regulations, and insurer specifications.
* Keep accurate records of inspections, communications, and project activities.
Qualifications:
* Relevant trade certificate/licence in Roofing.
* 5+ years' experience in roofing (repairs, installations, inspections).
* Proven background in inspections, estimating, and scoping work.
* Familiarity with Australian Standards AS **** & AS *****.
* Strong WHS compliance and safe roof access knowledge.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Valid driver's licence and White Card.
* Tech-savvy with experience using tablets, mobile devices, and workflow tools.
