The Langham, Sydney is looking for an experienced Hotel Manager to join our boutique luxury property and lead the property's dynamic team.

About the Role

This is an opportunity to demonstrate your ability to perform as the primary strategic business leader of the hotel with responsibility for managing all aspects of the hotel & outsourced operations under the Langham Hotels & Resorts brand flag to increase guest satisfaction, drive employee engagement, maximize revenue generation and deliver optimal performance and returns.

Duties & Responsibilities

Your duties will include:

* Embraces the luxury hotel's culture and ensures the operations philosophy, service style, policies and procedures align with the Langham Hotels & Resorts Vision, brand design and strategy.
* Selects, develops and retains a diverse and capable operations team to drive business performance by reviewing the operation process and ensuring this can sustain service standards and operational efficiency.
* Commits to meet and exceed guest expectations through delivering luxury service and products. Continuously focuses on quality control system to review and analyse customer feedback/preferences, seasonal promotion results, mystery shopper results and embraces the luxury hotel's culture and ensures the operations philosophy, service style, policies and procedures align with the Langham Hotels & Resorts Vision, brand design and strategy.
* Selects, develops and retains a diverse and capable operations team to drive business performance by reviewing the operation process and ensuring this can sustain service standards and operational efficiency.
* Actively participates in guest relationships and through personal involvement in the sales process and by building on existing operational environment and also new promotions/event ideas to ensure the Hotel is competitive in the local market.
* Oversees the annual financial plan to achieve or exceed the budget expectation for the Hotel. Monitors the Hotel's financial objectives and operations budget to ensure successful performance by maximizing profitability and providing a return on investment for the owner and LHG.

Skills & Experience

Your skills and experience will include:

* Must have at least 8 years of working experience in a luxury hotel or an equivalent environment
* Able to lead the operations team to achieve their goal and align the brand by delivering our customers genuine luxury hospitality within the Hotel complex.
* Able to keep close management of the operation teams to provide high-quality services to the customers.
* Able to create both local and international public awareness of the Hotel and stay relevant in the luxury hospitality trends in the local market.
