The Head of Human Resources position is a newly created role, with an extensive remit to drive cultural and organizational change.
The Role
This is a brand-new role at Port Phillip Prison, reporting into Board level for G4S ANZ. The Head of HR will partner with the Port Phillip Prison Leadership team to deliver business-aligned, value-adding programs and solutions across range of HR areas including: talent management, performance, remuneration, learning and development, engagement, culture and employee relations.
Responsible for overseeing day-to-day human resources operations and delivering strategic human resources initiatives in line with organisational strategies.
This role also has responsibility for advising, coaching and developing managers, leaders and staff on various people management and development matters, building internal capability in these areas.
Essential Requirements
- It is a condition of your employment that you are fully vaccinated against Covid 19, unless you have an authorised medical exemption.
- Demonstrated practical experience in generalist human resources delivery and/or a range of human resources specialities including recruitment, workforce planning, employee/industrial relations, return to work and learning and development.
- Significant experience leading and developing medium sized human resources teams with a consultative, compassionate and transformational leadership style
