Our client is seeking a dedicated Senior Financial Accountant to join their Finance and Investment Operations team. This is an exciting opportunity to help the team through year end for a 4 month contract.

What You'll Be Doing
In this role, you will:
- Lead and contribute to the preparation and delivery of financial reporting activities, ensuring compliance with Australian Accounting Standards and regulatory requirements
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams, administrators, auditors, and regulators
- Assist with year-end financial reporting, managing timelines and stakeholder communications effectively
- Analyse complex accounting matters and prepare clear, well-supported accounting papers
- Support ongoing improvements in financial reporting processes and respond to emerging priorities and ad hoc tasks
What We're Looking For
We welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds who bring:
- CA or CPA qualification, or equivalent tertiary finance qualifications
- Proven experience preparing general purpose financial statements aligned with Australian Accounting Standards
- Strong knowledge of financial and regulatory taxation; experience in superannuation fund reporting is an advantage but not essential
- Excellent organisational, analytical, and numeric skills with a keen attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively, communicate clearly, and manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment
- Will consider working holiday visa applicants
