Equipped Traffic are looking for experienced and self‑motivated Traffic Controllers to join our growing team. Due to ongoing growth we have multiple positions available.
These are casual positions with a January start.
To be successful in this role you will have the following experience.
* Traffic Controller experience (minimum 1 year)
* Implement and monitor operational Traffic Management Plans
* Complete site hazard assessments and implement control measures
* Load and unload vehicles with signage and equipment
* Control traffic, pedestrians, and cyclists past or around workers.
* Controlling and directing traffic, including the use of Stop/Slow
* Placing and maintaining traffic control devices such as signs, barriers and lights
* Providing excellent customer service to clients and the general public
* Adhering to all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
Skills and Experience
* Current Traffic Control ticket TC1 TMI1 (TC2 TMI2 preferred)
* Current Australian Driver's Licence
* White Card - Construction Industry
* Strong work ethic, reliable, and possess team player values
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety
* Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends and public holidays
