Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Diesel Mechanic located in Clare, SA. The Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for performing regular vehicle and equipment maintenance, diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues, and conducting preventive maintenance on various heavy equipment. The Diesel Mechanic will ensure that all machinery is running efficiently and safely, and may be required to maintain records of services and repairs performed.
Qualifications
* Skills in Vehicle Maintenance and Equipment Maintenance
* Proficiency in Diesel Mechanics and Heavy Equipment
* Experience with Preventive Maintenance techniques
* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Relevant certifications and qualifications in diesel mechanics or related fields are advantageous
* Familiarity with industry safety standards and regulations
Valid C class licence is compulsory; HR licence is preferred but not essential.
Competitive hourly rate can be negotiated plus use of new Toyota Landcruiser Ute.
