Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Facilities Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our industrial spaces. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the facility's maintenance, ensuring operational continuity, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the daily operations of the facility, including production, manufacturing, and test support
* Scope and manage mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) work as the space evolves
* Project manage capital improvement projects from pre-construction to execution and customer handover
* Collaborate with equipment owners on future equipment moves and planning to ensure efficient workflow
* Work closely with the Environmental Health and Safety team to ensure compliance and site safety
* Maintain fire suppression, HVAC, plumbing, water tanks, and general utility repairs
Requirements
* 5+ years of experience in supporting aerospace, defense, automotive, or manufacturing facilities
* Technical training in plant engineering or maintenance, or comparable professional experience
* Strong knowledge of engineering concepts, including electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
* Experience in managing EHS in a facility
* Familiarity with operating and maintaining forklifts, aerial man lifts, overhead gantry cranes, and hoists
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
* Attention to detail and commitment to 100% compliance with company and regulatory requirements
