Job Description:
* Encourage participants to strive toward reaching their personal objectives.
* Assist with everyday tasks like cooking, cleaning, hygiene, administering medications, and gaining access to the community.
* Assist participants in gaining self-assurance.
* Communicate and work together with clients, their community, and organizations that support people with disabilities.
* Track and evaluate the participant's development during the program and in relation to the support plan.
* Make use of techniques for positive behavior.
* Encourage clients to engage in activities and tasks that are appropriate for their age, such as work, in-home disability support, and community access.
* Keep an eye on the security and welfare of individuals with disabilities and notify the manager of any issues.
* Make sure the necessary paperwork is completed. Client notes and communication books will contain pertinent information about disability support as needed.
* Support each client's unique goals by collaborating with them, their family/caregivers, pertinent case managers, and other experts.

Experience:
* Disability Support Worker: 1 year (Required)
Licence/Certification:

* Manual Handling Certificate (Required)
