About the Role
As a General Practitioner, you will deliver high‐quality patient care in line with best practice standards, providing comprehensive primary healthcare services to patients of all ages.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing comprehensive primary healthcare services to patients of all ages.
* Conducting history‐taking, diagnosis, treatment, and referrals as needed.
* Managing chronic diseases in accordance with national guidelines.
* Administering vaccinations and ordering diagnostic tests as required.
* Collaborating with specialists, allied health professionals, and nursing staff.
* Ensuring accurate and confidential record‐keeping using medical software.
* Maintaining high standards of patient safety, infection control, and quality care.
* After‐hours on call with a rotating roster.
What We're Looking For
* Current AHPRA registration as a General Practitioner.
* Vocational Recognition (Fellowship with RACGP or ACRRM preferred) or eligibility.
* Expedited Pathway GPs from UK, Ireland and New Zealand, and overseas GPs assessed by RACGP as partially or substantially comparable.
* Qualifications accepted on the Expedited pathway: MRCGP+CCT UK (2007 onwards), MICGP+CSCST (Ireland 2009 onwards), FRNZCGP New Zealand (2012 onwards).
* Strong clinical skills and commitment to patient‐centred care.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
* Commitment to continuous professional development and quality improvement.
Overseas‐trained doctors and those under restrictions are welcome. The team is experienced in supporting international medical professionals with their transition into Australian healthcare.
