All applicants must supply either a letter of Aboriginality signed under the common seal from a recognised incorporated Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Community organisation such as Land Council or Elders group, Aboriginal Medical Service or a letter on letterhead from a Local Aboriginal Land Council demonstrating membership of the Council. We Currently Have Aboriginal Health Worker Positions Available Located Across The DistrictCoffs HarbourBellingenMacksvilleDorrigoKempseyWauchopePort MacquarieWhat You'll Be DoingWorking collaboratively to provide flexible, holistic and culturally sensitive health services to Aboriginal clients and the community to achieve better health outcomes and better access to health services for Aboriginal people within the Mid North Coast Local Health District.Network and liaise with other service providers to ensure a coordinated approach to health service delivery.Work closely with other Health Professionals to enhance and support holistic care for Aboriginal people.Undertaking administrative tasks and assist in the collection of health data.About YouThis role will be ideal for somebody with strong communication skills who understands Aboriginal health challenges and social factors affecting Aboriginal people, who is experienced in delivering culturally safe health care and advice.
