About the role: Reporting to the Advanced Nurse Unit Manager, some of your duties for the role will include: Providing professional clinical supervision to social work staff and students working in rehabilitation programs Communicating with clients’ family, carers, and other service providers Attending relevant special interest groups and other professional development activities Conducting education sessions for a range of staff within the service or division Prescribing and arranging for the provision of appropriate services About you: Demonstrated experience in clinical management within geriatric services, including program evaluation and service development, combined with a broad base of experience in Social Work practice Ability to critically analyse or evaluate issues related to clinical care in social work in a manner that can be applied to quality activities, service evaluation, or research Demonstrated a high level of oral and written communication skills and the ability to develop reports, proposals, and presentations Ability to contribute to professional education, the training of discipline-specific students, and to research Please see the attached Role Description for additional information.
