This diverse role offers exposure to complex cases while contributing to improved patient outcomes and quality of life.nSocial workers in ACRPC have diverse roles and support client cohorts in speciality areas, respect the diverse nature of the social work role and the specialty areas within ACRPC, including but not limited to:nPalliative Care: providing social work support to palliative care patients, their families and carers across illness and bereavement phases.nGeriatrics: providing social work support to older adults, families and carers, going through life transitions, through an understanding of geriatric conditions and best practice guidelines around management, assessment, intervention, case management and referrals eg. ACAT, MAC, TCP and SACAT.nRehabilitation: providing social work support to adults participating in rehabilitation.
