If you're a seasoned Senior PM who's at your best when delivery meets operations — service design/transition, control uplift, operational readiness, SLAs and vendor performance — this one is built for you.
We're delivering a new service platform / production support capability and need a hands‐on, ITSM‐credible Senior PM to drive delivery end‐to‐end and ensure it lands safely into business‐as‐usual across a complex enterprise environment.
What you'll deliver (where ITSM credibility matters)
* Lead delivery of a major service platform / production support capability, including financials, scope, milestones, risk & issues, and executive‐ready status reporting.
* Drive operational readiness so the solution is stable, supportable, and sustainably embedded into BAU (not "delivered then dropped").
* Own the service management outcomes across I&O units / towers — ensuring processes and controls exist for continuity, availability, capacity, service level and risk management (and that reporting works in practice).
* Manage Operational requirements to operationalise the new Production Support Platform and ensure risk controls are delivered across the platform.
* Partner with Engineering and Architecture to align operating procedures to ITIL and COBIT and establish standard enterprise ways of working.
* Lead vendor/partner delivery and ensure performance against agreed service standards and SLAs/OLAs.
* Build the measurement story: deliver reporting on events/process performance and track against agreed metrics.
The scale (we're aiming at proven "been here before")
We're looking for deep, lived commercial Senior PM experience across complex technology programs with characteristics like:
* Indicative cost up to ~$60m, duration up to ~18 months, teams up to ~30 resources.
* High impact / high risk delivery in a large, complex organisation, including diverse stakeholder expectations across business divisions and some reliance on external partners.
What will make you stand out and be an ideal fit for the role?
* A minimum of 7 years in technology transformation delivery with 5 years at Senior PM level - and gained in large/complex environments; with financial services domain experience is strongly valued.
* Strong, practical command of Service Management / ITSM — you can translate ITIL concepts into operating procedures, controls, reporting and day‐to‐day execution.
* Proven ability to uplift consistency via best‐practice processes, procedures and tools, and to drive efficiency and quality outcomes.
* Comfortable operating across Project and Service governance (risk, controls, metrics, service levels, vendor compliance).
* Desirable: ITIL v3, change management experience, relevant tertiary qualifications / recognised certifications.
* Exceptional commercial acumen and equally exceptional internal and external stakeholder expertise.
