We are seeking an experienced and personable Assistant Venue Manager for Café Muse at Queensland Museum Kurilpa. This role is ideal for a hospitality natural with a keen eye for detail and a passion for providing exceptional service.
As the Assistant Venue Manager, you will oversee front-of-house operations, ensuring that all café and service-related tasks are executed flawlessly. Your primary focus will be on delivering professional and courteous service to our diverse range of guests.
The venue operates in a fast-paced environment, especially during school holiday periods.

**The Role**
- Manage and oversee a successful café and a range of functions and events on-site
- Lead the front of house team
- Deliver great customer service to regular patrons and guests
- Maintain and enhance positive relationships between back and front of house teams
**About you**
- Prior experience managing a busy and successful venue and events
- Proven time management skills
- Innovative approach to food & Beverage operations
- Strong barista skills, a must
- A high achieving approach with the ability to guide, drive and mentor a team of staff
- Friendly personality, with a focus on providing top level customer service
- A passion for the hospitality industry
- Valid RSA
