Provide essential support to ensure the efficient operation of the hospital pharmacy.
This is a permanent full-time role at Shoalhaven Memorial Hospital (SMH) with a salary range of $61,889.52 - $78,817.30 per annum plus 12% super and salary packaging.
REQ.
Grade: Pharmacy Assistant, Pharmacy Technician Grade 1/2.
The successful applicant will be involved in all aspects of the delivery of Pharmacy services, including the safe, efficient and effective distribution of pharmaceuticals to clinical areas, preparation of manufactured sterile and non-sterile products, dispensing of prescriptions and related data duties.
The position includes participation in a weekend and public holiday roster and may involve periods of work at David Berry Hospital or Milton Ulladulla Hospital.

Shoalhaven Memorial Hospital, located on Yuin Country, is the main acute care hospital for the Shoalhaven region, providing emergency care, medical, surgical and orthopaedic services.
The hospital has an Intensive Care Unit focusing on high dependency and coronary patients, Children’s Ward and Maternity Unit, as well as a purpose-built regional Cancer Care Centre and sub-acute Mental Health Unit.

- Applicable vaccination requirements for a Category B role
- Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Recognised qualification in the field or qualifications deemed by the employer to be equivalent (as per award) enabling appointment as a Pharmacy Assistant Grade 1 or 2 or a Pharmacy Technician Grade 1 or 2
