The Team
The Billing Solutions Architects team is composed of experts with deep knowledge of Stripe’s products and the subscription, billing, and payments industry. They solve complex customer problems, collaborate with sales to create custom solutions, and provide strategic guidance to merchants. They also contribute to revenue goals, offer insights on go-to-market strategies, and provide feedback to product and engineering teams.
What you’ll do
You will be a key technical advisor and solutions expert, promoting the adoption of our billing solutions with new and existing customers. Your role involves working closely with sales, marketing, product, and engineering teams to ensure successful implementations and influence product development based on market trends and customer feedback. Building relationships, developing technical solutions, and sharing knowledge through training are core aspects of this role. You will have the opportunity to shape the future of internet commerce in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
* Technical Expertise: Serve as the subject matter expert on billing and revenue recognition solutions, understanding order-to-cash processes, customer journeys, and the competitive landscape.
* Solution Development: Architect solutions to address customer challenges, including complex integrations and customizations.
* Customer Success: Partner with sales and alliances teams to drive opportunities, lead solution strategies, and support successful implementations.
* Product Influence: Provide customer feedback to influence product development and feature prioritization.
* Knowledge Scaling: Create and share best practices, reusable assets, and training materials to improve efficiency.
* Technical Support: Resolve complex technical issues for key customers in collaboration with success and engineering teams.
* Sales Support: Support sales efforts by representing technical aspects, identifying blockers, and proposing solutions.

Minimum Requirements
* 10+ years in technical sales or pre-sales focusing on solution architecture.
* 5+ years in payments, fintech, or related industry.
* Strong technical skills in API integrations, SaaS platforms, and enterprise architectures, especially order-to-cash and billing systems.
* Extensive experience with subscription, billing, and payment solutions.
* Understanding of industry trends and emerging technologies.
* Excellent communication skills for diverse audiences.
* Executive presence and relationship-building skills.
* Passion for customer success and advocacy.
* Willingness to travel up to 50%.
Work Environment & Compensation
Stripe offers a hybrid work model, requiring at least 50% office presence. The salary range in the primary location (Singapore) is S$289,300 - S$433,900, including base and potential bonuses or commissions. Benefits include equity, bonuses, retirement plans, health benefits, and wellness stipends. Specific details depend on location and will be discussed during interviews.
