The Role: Rigger
Opportunity for a Rigger / Dogman to join our team based in Garden Island. You will be required to undertake multi-skilled activities in all aspects of ship repair.
* Undertake rigging work inboard of vessel, Light & Heavy Engineering.
* Undertake rigging work external of vessel, Light & Heavy Engineering.
* Undertake rigging work Light & Heavy Engineering within a Workshop Environment.
* Capable of undertaking rigging equipment inspections for fit for use.
* Capable of undertaking rigging but not limited to Awkward Shaped Loads & Heavy Lifts, (Bow‑Thrusters, Propellers, Propeller Blades & Propeller Shafts and Rudders etc)
* Capable of Mentoring others, including Mentoring Labour Hire workforce.
* Work with Forklifts, EWP's, WAH, Mobile & Portal Cranes as a Dogman / Rigger
Your Skills
* Must be eligible for a Defence Security Clearance and/or if candidate may need to be ITAR cleared. Australian Citizenship is mandatory.
* Occasional interstate travel may be required.
* Overseas travel may be required.
* Drivers Licence – Class C
* Undertake training as directed and/or for compliance purposes
