Your new role
As a Draftsperson, you will be responsible for producing accurate drawings that support the delivery of refrigeration projects for commercial facilities and industrial clients. Working closely with engineers, project managers, and technicians, your responsibilities will include:
* Producing detailed piping, mechanical and refrigeration drawings using AutoCAD.
* Develop innovative drafts for refrigeration systems, considering efficiency, safety, and environmental impact.
* Create detailed piping layouts, ensuring optimal flow, pressure, and heat transfer.
* Collaborating with the engineering team to ensure all designs meet specifications and industry standards
* Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
* Address technical challenges related to system performance and reliability.
* Updating and revising drawings as needed
* Providing drafting support across a range of commercial and industrial projects
What you'll need to succeed
* Proficiency in drafting and analysing mechanical piping systems, ideally from a refrigeration perspective.
* Problem-solving is essential - having the ability to address challenges and find effective solutions.
* Strong CAD software skills.
* The ability to convey complex technical information effectively to various stakeholders.
* Thoroughness in drafting and documentation.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical information.
* Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate work.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team.
