The Role
This is a fantastic career opportunity to join our growing HVAC Division in Hobart.
We are significantly expanding our market presence, securing multiple, long-term government contracts alongside a diverse commercial project base, ensuring stable and consistent workflow for you.
As a Mechanical Services Plumber, you won't be tackling general plumbing; you'll become a specialist on the installation critical plant infrastructure. You will work hand-in-hand with our highly skilled team on complex, large-scale systems, including:
- Hydronic Heating Systems
- Heating Hot Water (HHW) & Chilled Water (CHW) Systems
- Air Handling Units (AHUs) and Air Handling Systems
Your standard work week is Monday to Friday. While we prioritize work-life balance, there is also the opportunity for paid weekend and after-hours work on an ad-hoc basis, allowing you to maximize your earning potential.

We are looking for a highly capable professional who is ready to step up and take ownership of their work:
- HVAC Expertise: Demonstrable experience in commercial HVAC plumbing installations, routine maintenance.
- Professionalism & Communication: A competent, confident individual with excellent interpersonal skills and a robust focus on a clean, safe, and tidy presentation on site.
- Autonomy & Drive: Highly self-motivated, organized, and capable of working effectively and efficiently unsupervised.
- Digital Proficiency: Competent in using app-based programs for job management, reporting, and accessing technical information.
Minimum requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following non-negotiable qualifications:
- Mechanical Plumbing Certificate 3.
- Current White Card (General Construction Induction) and a valid car driver's licence.
Desirable:
The following qualifications are highly regarded and will significantly strengthen your application, demonstrating an expanded skillset crucial for our diverse HVAC projects:
- Gas Fitting Licence: Highly desirable but not essential.
- TMV (Thermostatic Mixing Valve) Accreditation: (Desirable) Not really a requirement
- Restricted Electrical Licence: (Desirable)

$2,500 Sign-On Bonus: We're offering a significant immediate financial incentive to welcome the right professional to our team. ($2,500 payable after successful completion of the Six-month probation period).
