Supporting the retail sales and marketing team, this role requires someone with a proven record in gathering data, reviewing results and providing actionable insights that influence business decisions.
Responsibilities :
1. Work in close collaboration with Australian retail team to support their objectives and drive the day-to-day execution of all retail programs.
2. Consolidate data from various sources to review results, identify key highlights and facilitate analysis to inform strategy.
3. Support account management activities e.g. reviews, performance to goal, inventory management and marketing claims.
4. Support execution of retail marketing programs to drive sales of products in Australia e.g. bundles, promotions, and content offers.
5. Maintain accurate records of sales and marketing execution, ensuring that all relevant information is up-to-date and easily accessible.
6. Support the team with administrative and operational needs around retail programs to build effective retail partnerships.
7. Provide support on store level deep dives, reviews, and actionable insights to drive business growth and improvement.
8. Create and maintain weekly reports to track key metrics and drive efficiencies for retail programs.
9. Assist team in preparation for recurring meetings by creating and updating presentation materials.
10. Maintain and update retail calendars.
11. Monitor online and in-store retail presence, including regular “walks” of stores, to identify opportunities that ensure best-in-class shopping experiences to promote the brand.
12. Manage performance and engagement of marketing campaigns to optimize results.
13. Collate assets and guidelines for online merchandising updates, ensuring that all relevant information is accurate.
14. Support the setup, execution and online audits of new product launches.
Skills and experience required :
1. 4+ years of experience in a sales or marketing role, preferably in retail, e-commerce or big tech, with a clear record of sales achievement and / or success in technology-based consumer marketing.
2. Proven knowledge and a record of excellence delivering sales quotas against business plans, leading successful retail programs and go-to-market execution across omnichannel retailers.
3. Demonstrable experience in planning and managing sales and marketing related activities and budgets.
4. Understanding of the Australian retail market, industry trends, market conditions and competitive landscape.
5. Experience working on bundles, promotions and store merchandising.
6. Passionate advocate for innovation and the opportunities presented by disruptive technologies.
7. Experience at leading retailers or brands, particularly in Consumer Electronics or Fashion. Open to wearable tech, video games, FMCG and other backgrounds if transferable experience and skills.
8. Comfortable working in a start-up-like environment, can dive into details while managing the top-level in a matrix structure with wide range of cross functional teams on different time zones.
9. Proven experience in deep diving and analysing data from a range of sources to provide actionable insights.
10. Highly literate in Google suite, spreadsheets, databases and digital tools.
11. Able to express ideas with confidence and clarity when presenting in written or spoken form.
12. Capacity to get things done at short notice while collecting information from a variety of internal and external sources.
