About the role

An opportunity exists for an Executive Assistant to provide high-level executive and administrative support to the Group Chief People Officer (GCPO). This role is critical in enabling the effective delivery of people and culture priorities through the provision of professional, proactive and confidential support.

The position requires strong judgment, attention to detail and the ability to operate effectively within a complex, fast-paced corporate environment.

Accountabilities

* Provide executive administrative and office management support to the Group Chief People Officer
* Establish and maintain an effective operating rhythm, including diary management, meeting coordination and occasional local and international travel
* Prepare correspondence, presentations, reports and briefing materials, often involving complex, confidential and sensitive information
* Act as a central point of contact, managing inquiries and escalating matters requiring GCPO attention as appropriate
* Review and coordinate approvals for GCPO signature, ensuring all relevant information and context is provided
* Support prioritisation of competing demands, including the effective management of time and workflow
* Ensure all meetings are supported by clear agendas, pre-reads, actions and follow-up
* Ensure the GCPO is appropriately briefed on people, risk, legal, financial and reputational matters
* Track actions and commitments to ensure timely completion
* Coordinate events and engagement activities for the People Leadership Team
* Support employee engagement initiatives and contribute to a positive and professional team culture
* Monitor leave, absences, expenses and compliance disciplines for the People team
* Maintain accurate records, documentation and information management in line with governance and audit requirements
* Manage expense claims and reconciliations in accordance with company policy

What experience you'll bring

* Minimum 3–5 years' similar or relevant experience supporting senior or executive-level leaders.
* Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment when managing complex, confidential and sensitive matters
* Highly developed organisational and time management skills
* Strong written and verbal communication capability
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and office management systems
* Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively within a broader Executive Assistant team
* Strong stakeholder management skills across multiple levels of the organisation
* Professional resilience, with the ability to remain composed and effective under pressure
* Capacity to operate confidently in a high-energy, fast-paced environment with changing priorities
* High level of discretion, integrity and emotional intelligence
