Senior Appian Developer – Government Organisation – Adelaide
Hybrid – Office/WFH – Remote in Australia.
Negotiable salary. 12‑month contract with extensions.
For this contract role you must be already based in Australia.
This government department is seeking a Senior Appian Developer with at least 3 years of experience working with Appian. Excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail and a team player would be the right attributes.
Responsibilities
* Translate user stories into required functionality using the Appian platform.
* Design, implement, enhance, and support Appian applications.
* Guide Appian developers ensuring best practices are followed.
* Participate in peer reviews to ensure quality and knowledge transfer.
* Prepare and maintain thorough system and application documentation.
* Analyse and fix production defects.
Essential Skills
* Strong experience with Appian BPM platform.
* MySQL or similar relational database.
* Skills for writing reusable common objects.
* Experience in Agile software development – Working with JIRA and Kanban boards.
* Experience working with Business Analysts and Key Stakeholders.
* Appian certification would be highly regarded.
* Experience with other programming knowledge (.Net, C#, Java or any OOP) would be highly regarded.
* Knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS/MS Azure) would be advantages.
