Key responsibilities include:
1. Maximising sales revenue, margin and volume of rural products through extensive contact with end-users, distributor clients and influencers of buying decisions
2. Developing sales plans to achieve targets and monitoring market trends
3. Achieving sales targets
4. Influencing stakeholders by articulating product benefits, demonstrating products and providing training
Our ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the Australian agricultural industry and proven sales experience.
Key qualifications include:
1. An agricultural-related qualification is desirable but not essential
2. A passion for farming is essential
3. Strong stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills are necessary
4. The ability to deliver effective presentations to individuals and groups
5. A positive attitude and drive to succeed
6. Demonstrated ability to generate new business opportunities and leads
7. A willingness to travel and be away from home regularly
8. A current and valid driver's license
