SKY News Australia's Sydney office is recruiting an interview producer for breakfast show First Edition.
Responsibilities
Working with host Peter Stefanovic, the interview producer will be in charge of booking guests for the show. The tasks will include researching the subject and preparing the host's questions, setting up the interview production elements from graphics to background footage, and arranging location and equipment for interviews, especially videoconferencing solutions. They may also be tasked to aid other producers with processing news coverage.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have up to three years' experience in a live newsroom environment. They must prove capable of making sound editorial judgements fast, sort out important operations logistics, and reaching out to credible resource persons as guests. Applicants proficient in Quantel and ENPS may be highly considered.
