**Job Summary**
We are seeking a skilled Transportation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in maintaining complex transportation systems and be able to effectively manage projects.
The selected individual will be responsible for managing data collection, process improvement, and technical support for the GCRT LRV team. They will also assist in establishing manuals, systems, standards, regimes, and technical solutions to enhance vehicle performance and reliability.
This is a challenging role that requires strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for learning.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the collection of data, processes, and procedures related to vehicle condition, performance, and reliability.
* Support product safety and develop, verify, and apply vehicle-related standards.
* Develop and maintain strong technical relationships with customers.
* Lead change management and obsolescence management processes.
* Support training and quality assurance activities.
Requirements:
* A positive attitude with an enthusiasm for learning and development.
* The ability to build effective working relationships and collaborate within a small team.
* Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
* Experience in maintenance operations (preferred).
* Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic or similar).
