The role and you:
Playing an integral part in the coordination of category related collateral, this fast-paced role reports directly to a Merchandise Manager, and ensures that category/merchandise plans are rolled out to schedule. This role can be based in either our Brisbane or Melbourne (Rowville) head office with some of the week WFH (hybrid).
You’ll know you’re the right person for the role if you have a resilient, tenacious personality, you thrive in a fast-paced role, and you love the challenge of meeting deadlines. Able to work with set objectives and set information, and yet be confident in in your problem-solving skills, asking questions along the way.
Duties include:
4. Meet business objectives in relation to category plans
5. Supplier engagement and negotiations
6. Range performance analysis and reviews
7. Off Shore Product development and lifecycle management
8. Review and execution of promotional plans
9. Create and procure content for packaging and online
10. Data analysis and review
11. Seasonal product planning and execution
12. Report preparation and presentation
13. General administration support related to the role and category
14. Internal and external stakeholder relationship building
The successful applicant will have:
15. Category, merchandise or buying exposure, or a passion for developing a career in this area
16. Retail or FMCG experience desirable
17. Strong communication skills and the ability to develop solid stakeholder relationships
18. Well-developed excel skills, and good experience in all other Microsoft packages
19. A love of data and ability to analyse information, identify key points and make recommendations
20. A keen eye for detail, and strong sense of logic
21. Strong excel skills
22. A natural ability to be organised
