Job Opportunity for Centre Director
We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our early learning centre in Numurkah. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing a new service, shaping its culture and creating high-quality learning experiences for children and families.
This role oversees all aspects of operations – compliance, staffing, enrolments, budgets, community engagement and educational leadership. A key requirement is proven management experience in early childhood education.
* In-depth knowledge of the NQF, Child Safe Standards, and sector regulations is essential.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills are crucial for success in this role.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education.
* A current Working with Children Check and First Aid certification.
* A Police Check (and international if required).
* Addition training in anaphylaxis, asthma, and mandatory reporting (or willingness to obtain).
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee daily centre operations, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for children.
* Mentor and guide staff members to deliver quality programs under the EYLF and NQS.
Requirements
* Demonstrated experience in managing centres, including budgeting and resource allocation.
* Strong understanding of child development principles and practices.
