About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Engaging with customers to understand operational problems and opportunities.
* Calculating return on investment (ROI) for potential assessments.
* Developing integrated solutions spanning all layers of the automation pyramid.
* Collaborating with designers and engineers to design and deploy advanced process control solutions.
* Providing troubleshooting and technical support.
* Staying at the forefront of process control technology and innovation.
* Optimising Mipac's remote optimisation portal for client knowledge capture and value tracking.
Requirements
* Degree in Metallurgy, Process, or Chemical Engineering with exposure to Process Control.
* 7+ years of experience in metallurgical environments with process control and production reporting.
* International and consulting experience across various operations and commodities preferred.
* Ability to balance competing priorities and business drivers.
* Experience in designing robust process control strategies.
* Solid understanding of Windows OS, process dynamics, mathematics, simulation, and technical computing.
* Advanced knowledge of production systems, including modelling and simulation.
* Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
