**About the role** - **As a dynamic and innovative member of our school community, you will:

**About you** - **To be successful in this role you will bring relevant qualifications and contemporary teaching experience in Support Teacher Inclusive Education as well as:
- Strong literacy, numeracy and digital literacy practices plus a clear understanding of the Australian Curriculum
- Commitment to child safety
- A strong knowledge of inclusive education practices, especially for students with disabilities
- Experience in implementing personalised learning plans (PLP) and Individual Curriculum Plans (ICPs)
- An understanding of the NCCD processes, Involvement with Strategies and practices which influence student progress and achievement
- An ability to oversee and deliver a range of mapping and planning functions to support inclusive education practices
- An ability to attend to innovative and creative teaching practices
- A proven capacity to work as part of a team
- A willingness to share knowledge and skills through professional development, consultation and advice
- Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven organisational skills
- Commitment to engage with colleagues, students, and parents/carers to achieve the best outcomes
- Demonstrated competence against the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers across professional knowledge, practice and engagement.
**At BCE our teachers are required to**:
- Hold a current Queensland College of Teachers registration; and
- Be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.
