ICT Business Analyst PERAUSSIE INVESTMENTS PTY LTD
Location: Taree, NSW Employment Type: Full-Time Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 (plus superannuation)

About Us Our business is interested in expanding in other areas of medical services with the vision of providing process optimisation, digital transformation, and technology implementation services to medical practitioners, clinics, and hospitals across Australia.

As part of our continued expansion, we are seeking an experienced ICT Business Analyst to work closely with clients in the medical sector, analyse existing processes and systems, and design and implement technological solutions that deliver measurable improvements.

About the Role The ICT Business Analyst will act as the central link between healthcare clients, internal stakeholders, and development teams.

You will analyse clinical and administrative workflows, identify inefficiencies, document system requirements, and support the delivery of technology solutions and implementation services. This role requires strong capability in ICT analysis, project management methodologies, and process modelling. You will support the full lifecycle of technology initiatives from requirements formulation and solution design to deployment, documentation, training, and post-implementation review.

This position will suit someone with extensive experience in analysing business operations, improving complex processes, and implementing ICT solutions in professional environments such as healthcare, medical research, retail operations, logistics, or large multi-site organisations.


Key Responsibilities – Business & Systems Analysis

* Work with users to identify, formulate, and document business and system requirements.
* Investigate current processes, procedures, and workflows within healthcare practices to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for optimisation.
* Conduct detailed process and impact analysis for proposed systems and changes.
* Review and evaluate existing ICT systems used by clinics and hospitals, identifying gaps and required enhancements.
* Use data and process modelling techniques to create clear system specifications for software development or configuration.


Solution Design & Project Support

* Develop functional and non-functional specifications for developers and technical teams.
* Assist in solution design, including prototypes, wireframes, user stories, acceptance criteria, and test plans.
* Support project planning, timelines, resource requirements, and risk assessments.
* Take responsibility for deploying functional solutions, including creating and executing system test plans.
* Act as a central reference point for system changes and provide expert guidance for decision-making.


Client Engagement & Implementation

* Facilitate workshops, interviews, and stakeholder meetings with healthcare professionals.
* Translate complex business needs into practical ICT solutions aligned with business objectives.
* Prepare user guides, training documentation, and handover packages.
* Conduct training and support users during User Acceptance Testing and post-implementation.
* Monitor implemented solutions and recommend further optimisation.


Change & Continuous Improvement

* Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and risks associated with technology adoption.
* Support change impact assessments and readiness activities for clinics and medical organisations.
* Develop improvement recommendations based on data analysis, system reviews, and stakeholder feedback.


Skills & Experience Required – Essential

* Bachelor Degree or higher qualification in Information Systems, Computer Science, ICT, Engineering, or a related field.
* 5+ years of experience in ICT business analysis, systems analysis, or solution design.
* Proven ability to analyse complex business processes and document detailed functional requirements.
* Experience evaluating existing systems, identifying inefficiencies, and recommending improvements.
* Strong capability in process modelling, data analysis, and structured documentation.
* Demonstrated experience preparing system specifications for developers or technical teams.
* Experience with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or PRINCE2 methodologies.
* Excellent communication skills, including translating technical concepts into business language.
* Strong stakeholder management skills across diverse professional environments.


Highly Advantageous

* Postgraduate qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
* Experience in healthcare, medical technology, clinical workflow analysis, or hospital systems.
* Experience working across multiple sites and large operational environments.
* Experience managing end-to-end technology projects from requirements through implementation.
* Ability to facilitate workshops, training sessions, and stakeholder interviews.
* Familiarity with SQL, Power BI, data visualisation tools, programming languages (Python, JavaScript), or app development tools.
