Join Civica's User Experience team and play a key role in shaping products that make a real difference. As a Senior Product Designer, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to craft visually engaging, accessible, and user-friendly experiences that balance user needs with business goals. Your passion for pixel-perfect design, attention to detail, and mastery of modern visual language will be essential to delivering compelling digital products.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Visual Design & Delivery: Craft visually compelling, pixel-perfect user interfaces that are both beautiful and highly usable, ensuring they meet accessibility standards and align with business goals.
2. Collaboration & Teamwork: Work closely with product designers, product managers, engineers, and researchers to bring designs to life throughout the product lifecycle.
3. Prototyping & Validation: Develop high-fidelity prototypes to communicate design ideas, run design reviews, and iterate based on feedback, research, and data insights.
4. Design Systems & Standards: Use and contribute to the Firefly design system, ensuring consistency, scalability, and adherence to established design principles.
5. Accessibility & Inclusion: Advocate for inclusive design and ensure compliance with accessibility standards.

What you will need to be successful in this role
6. Experience & Expertise: 5+ years of experience in visual/product design roles, working across multiple platforms and industries, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality digital products.
7. Visual Design Expertise: Strong portfolio showcasing exceptional visual design skills, including UI design, typography, colour theory, and layout across web, mobile, and other digital platforms.
8. Design Craft & Execution: Ability to translate big ideas into visually compelling and user-friendly interfaces, making complex tasks intuitive and delightful.
9. Prototyping & Collaboration: Skilled in creating high-fidelity prototypes and collaborating with researchers, product designers, and developers to refine and test designs.
10. Brand & Identity: Deliver high-quality designs that reflect and evolve Civica's brand, adapting to the changing needs of modern digital experiences.
11. Design Systems: Experience using and contributing to design systems, ensuring design consistency and scalability across multiple platforms.
12. Accessibility & Standards: Knowledge of accessibility principles and best practices, ensuring designs comply with WCAG and other relevant standards.
13. Communication & Teamwork: Strong communication skills with the ability to explain design decisions clearly, collaborate effectively, and contribute to a positive team environment.
14. Mentorship & Inspiration: Support and inspire other designers, promoting continuous improvement and raising the quality and impact of the team's work.
* Tools & Technology: Proficient in design tools such as Figma, FigJam, and other relevant platforms and plug-ins for creating, presenting, and delivering high-quality design work.
