Senior Cabinet Maker - Opportunity for Future Progression
We are a well-established, growing cabinetry business specialising in high-quality bespoke joinery. We're seeking an experienced cabinet maker who takes pride in their workmanship and is looking for a long-term role with the potential to grow.
This position is first and foremost a hands‐on cabinet‐making role. However, for the right person, there may be opportunities over time to take on additional responsibility within the factory environment as a Leading hand and eventually into a Management position.
THE ROLE
Your core focus will be:
* Manufacturing high-quality custom cabinetry
* Working from detailed shop drawings and specifications
* Maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient work area
* Supporting installations when required
In addition, depending on experience and capability, you may also:
* Assist with coordinating workflow on the factory floor
* Support other trades and apprentices as needed
* Keep an eye on materials and hardware for active jobs
* Liaise with the office team to resolve day-to-day production issues
All jobs are planned and scheduled by the office team — this role is about supporting smooth execution on the floor.
ABOUT YOU
You will ideally have:
* Experience in custom or high‐end cabinetry
* A strong work ethic and attention to detail
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good communication and problem‐solving skills
An interest in taking on greater responsibility over time is highly regarded.
