The key responsibilities include:
* Component Sourcing and Specification: Identify and acquire technical and mechanical components that meet the required standards.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with manufacturing, engineering, and sales departments to drive project success.
* Inventory Management and Systems Development: Implement efficient inventory control systems and develop processes to streamline operations.
* Supplier Engagement and Negotiation: Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers to explore national and international channels, ensuring competitive pricing.
* General Administration: Provide support with preparing quotations, invoices, schedules, and job tracking, among other tasks.
This position reports directly to the General Manager.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will require a background in trades or engineering, coupled with strong mechanical knowledge, excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
You must be able to prioritize projects and deadlines effectively.
